Go live for the first time
Stream from your encoder, set up chat and turn your stream into a video afterwards.

Live streaming needs a verified account with no live-streaming restrictions in the last 90 days.
- Select Create → Go live. The Live Control Room opens in Studio.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key into your streaming software. Keep the key secret — anyone with it can stream to your channel.
- Add a title, description and thumbnail, and choose the latency: normal latency gives the best quality, low latency makes chat feel more immediate.
- Start streaming from your software. When the preview looks right, your audience can watch.
Live chat
Use slow mode, subscriber-only or member-only chat to keep conversation manageable, and add moderators who can remove messages and time out participants.
When you end the stream, it’s saved to your channel automatically so people who missed it can watch it later.
